RBT's

Role: An RBT is a paraprofessional who works in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Training and Certification: RBTs must pass the RBT certification exam, which is administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 

Responsibilities: RBTs typically implement behavior intervention plans and strategies developed by BCBA to support individuals with clients. Their primary role is to provide direct behavioral intervention and collect data on client progress.

Supervision: RBTs work closely under the supervision of a certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who provides ongoing oversight, guidance, and clinical direction.

BA's

Role: A Behavior Assistant is a paraprofessional who works in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Training and Qualifications: The qualifications and training requirements for a Behavior Assistant is the completion of 40 hour ABA  training course.

Responsibilities:  Behavior Assistant assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies developed by BCBA to support clients. Their primary role is to provide direct behavioral intervention and collect data on client progress.

Supervision: BAs work closely under the supervision of a certified behavior analyst (BCBA) who provides ongoing oversight, guidance, and clinical direction.

BCBA's

Role: A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is the leader of the team in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Training and Certification: Must hold a masters degree and a certification from the BACB.

Responsibilities: BCBA professionals are primarily responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies to support individuals and clients and caregiver training. They oversee the execution of these plans and analyze data to monitor client progress.

Supervision: BCBA professionals provide comprehensive supervision, guidance, and clinical direction to support staff, including RBTs and BAs, to ensure the effective implementation of ABA techniques. Our BCBA’s will have an opportunity to be part of our dynamic team where they can learn from seasoned BCBA’s with over 32 years expertise combined.
